Thread 2
Thread 3

Parents and piercings:
Thread 1 --Fuzznose's advice in this thread is great.
Thread 2 --other people's experiences with the underage piercing debate.

Other stuff:

The BME encyclopedia --includes a section where you can look up risks associated with specific piercings.

Piercings and Metal Detectors:
Thread 1
Thread 2
Thread 3

Various bumps and other oddities:
Thread 1--lip
Thread 2--nostril
Thread 3--nostril

Thread 1
Thread 2
Thread 3
Thread 4

Metal allergies
Size information

And of course, you can always ask! Welcome again, and happy piercing. smile

Thank you very much, squeak!

I'd like to add the piercing FAQ's from the main page
http://www.tribalectic.com/FAQ.asp?Section=Pierced

Here you can find charts for the conversion of gauges and millimeters

and the stretching guide. http://www.tribalectic.com/StretchingGuide.asp

and, finally: Why piercing guns are bad bad bad.

What to do with bumps in general might be good as well.

Ladies, ladies, ladies....

It is not a bad thing when a man starts asking how to help his partner find happiness.

Just tell him the happiness comes before the steel. The steel is a spice you add to a simmering soup.

We guys are goobers, but sometimes the heart is in the right place.

Sorry to disagree with you, Bash, but I got my jinglies because they seemed pleasing to me, kind of like just a further expression of who I am. AFTER I got pdb, I did start thinking, 'omg, will this be good for her?' Time will tell, we're still healing.

Sometimes we guys should be smacked. Don't blame us, though, when we look for ways to bring joy to our partners. Just remind us, the metal is not an answer. It's a spice for something which is already going well.

hey guys
um, I'm thinking about stretching my ear lobe (on one side), I already investigated loads of stuff on it, but i have one question
I already have my lobe pierced, but it is the normal tiny hole, I already have the taper thing, but my question is, do I force it all into my lobe in one go? or do I go gradual on it, which is better?
and, after I get it in, how long do I leave it there before I change it to a proper plug or whatever?

Vamp - it is best to stretch any piercing one gauge at a time. If you have "standard" sized pierced ears then stretch to a 16gauge first, then wait a month or 2 and stretch to 14, etc until you reach the desired size. Never force a taper in, you can cause a blowout and then your piercing will look like a cat's butthole.

Hi everyone. I need help in deciding to get a clit hood ring. I'm a little concerned about whether it gets that yukky smells that earrings get?
