I'm so sad my navel is rejecting, so I am going to take it out today. I was wondering if it was 3 months to wait to get repierced and also keep doing the aftercare and for how long? Also, I know I have to take out barbell, but would it be a good idea to have a piercer look at before I do, just to make sure its not infected or anything? I know its probably not, but just curious becuase I was going to go see my piercer today anyway about some jewelry.

Going to a piercer is always a good idea, just in case. They can answer your other questions as well. 3 months of healing before repiercing is fine (I think). Keep up the aftercare for a month (again i think). See your piercer for definate answers. good luck and sorry to hear it is rejecting.

I'm so sorry! I know how you feel though, and dont worry you'll be able to get it repierced in no time. I would go to the piercer and have him look at it and take it out. You're supposed to keep cleaning the piercing with provon or whatever you use maybe once a day.
