I'm just curious as to what is the normal size for balls on 8 and 6 gauge tongue barbells? The barbell I'm interested in has a 1/4" ball on the bottom, and a 5/16" ball on top. Any body with balls around these sizes? Do you find them annoying / uncomfortable in any way? Any other opinions? Thanks. --

I believe that standard balls on an 8ga barbell are 1/4 inch, least that's what I've found to be true. I just downsized to 12, though. My tongue loves titanium

I'm at an 8 at the moment. It actually isnt as bad as I had thought. The balls were a little uncomfortable for about a day. But you get used to it. I'm on a journey towards a 4. one day...
