I was just seeing what everyone thinks about certian piercing and gender. Like I think monroes( spelt wrong?) are for girls more than guys. Also personally I think lebret's are more for guys. Wanted to see what ya'll thought.

Hmm, gender related posts as opposed to sex related posts, and by sex I mean the male/female sex thing rather than the bumping uglies part.

I guess even here we do gender stereotyping. The Monroe/Madonna thing I guess is natural as they mimic that beauty spot effect, and that is founded on an identity mark found on women. As for the labret, I suppose it is redolant of the 'spiky warrior' image most often found in men. At least since Mad Max! I've only once seen a woman with a septum tusk fitted, although I've seen several septum piercings on women. So maybe it's a jewellery thing rather than a gender split?

I know I'd never have my hood done. The jewellery would rattle around in the washing machine!!!!!

As usual, I have to kind of agree with TJ (one of these days I swear I'm gonna come up with something witty and original that'll make you wish you'd said it, matey). Well, all apart from the "bumping uglies" part - speak for yourself!! :p

I think most piercings can be carried off by both genders if they want it enough and have the confidence in themselves to wear it.
