Alright this is probably the stupidest thing to ask for advice on, but it's worth a try I have my belly button, used to have my rook but had to take it out but I'm getting it redone after X~mas, and I have my hood done. This is my problem: I really want my nipples pierced. I like how it looks and I heard the sensation is great. I am aware of the pain and that does not bother me but my problem is my boyfriend. He says he likes my boobs the way they are and I shouldn't mess them up. This is one thing I don't want to do behind his back though. Did any girls ever have this problem? Their boyfriend was totally against it then somehow you convinced him but now he loves it? The funny this is: he didn't want me to get a tattoo but I did and he LOVES it..he is always looking at it when we fool around. But anyway, I really want these done but I don't wanna sacrifice my relationship. Can any ladies or guys help me?? Thanks :p

Before I got my nipples pierced I talked about it a lot with my boyfriend. He said that my boobs were totally fine and that he preferred unpierced nipples. But he understood that it was my body and was okay with whatever I decided to do. After I got them done he actually admitted that he thought they were sexy which was great for me to hear. Funny thing is a lot of people have asked me if I got my nipples pierced because he wanted me to. I find it strange that people don't seem to believe that a girl would want to get her nipples pierced for herself. I say if it is something you want to do go for it...he'll come around.

the same thing is happening with me and my hubby! But he knows he has no say in it. I told him i wanted to do it, and he said "No, i like your boobies the way they are". hello? i wasn't asking you for permission, rather telling you my newest obsession. hehe.

I'm not sure my fiance likes any of my piercings. (14 ear, navel, tongue) He made a joking comment to me the other day that I dont think was all joke to him. He said something like this:

"so when are you gonna get your nipples or some genital piercings done? Seeing how you like to pierce things I like to play with, so I cant play with them anymore"

I think this was mostly in reference to all my ear piercings cuz he used to like to nibble on my ears and such. Plus I try to get him to touch my navel bb and see that its ok to play with and touch, but he wont.

Well here are my 2 cents worth on this subject. I had wanted to get my nipples done for the past year, but never did because my fiance did not approve. Yes, it is MY body, but he has to look at it on a daily basis, so I think it is something you should discuss as a couple! Just like I dont like facial hair, and he stays clean shaven. Its a give and take, and you should always pick your battles.. I mean are piercings REALLY something to fight about? I dont think so! After a year, and many conversations he said he was ok with it!!! He can't wait until they are healed, and well neither can I!!!

Yeah I think I can work on him...I mean he loves everything else I ever did. He just says I don't need it and I guess I should be glad someone likes my body as much as he does...but I still want it and I'm still gonna get it! You guys are right, it's my body...but I'm gonna be nice about it when I bring the subject up again, thanks for all your help

From a guy's standpoint(at least one who is saying he would rather not see you pierce your nipples), I can understand that...there is a great attraction to certain body parts being left alone..he may have his personal reasons(whatever they may be), but you both should work it out together....good luck.
