I plan on getting either my lip (center) or tongue pierced...I was wondering what one hurts more? Gives you a harder time to talk with? Is harder to kiss with? Adapt to? I know that is a lot of questions just for a piercing but I like better to be well informed. I'm also in drama classes so that is why I need a piercing that won't get in the way of my speech. Another thing is what is the best jewelry to put in a center lip piercing...CBR? Horse shoe? what? Thanx for your time...

neither one really hurt, personally..i had my tongue first then center lip..id definitely say the tongue was harder to talk with at first, because of the swelling...my lip didnt swell, or if it did i sure couldnt tell..its basically a toss up as to which you want..my tongue swelled a great deal, but it didnt last long...lip didnt swell but when i'd drink it would leak--just for a few days...if lisping for a few days would be a problem, i think the lip would be better...after it heals, jewelry's mostly just personal preference...i have a horse shoe now (creates a nifty illusion), but had a cbr in it for the first year...tried a lippy loop but my piercing is too high up..

I'd go for a lip-tongue orbital.. that would kick some major arse...

ok.. neither really hurts much at all.. the aftercare for both are simple.. neither get in the way of kissing or anything like that.. except maybe a tongue does sometimes while eating.. but you adjust and get used to it.. but either or is a great piercing and lots of fun..

How do you do a lip-tongue orbital? I have never heard of that before. Did you like just make it up or something? If you have a pic of it send it to me plz I would love to see what it looks like!

Interesting, I can't see anything offensive in overly quoting the word Monkey! Is this an American thing? does the word have a different meaning here (there). The colloquial meaning here for a monkey is £500.

Neither hurt too badly for me. Both rather fun. Neither will present problems while kissing talking, really... But the first week or so that you get your tongue piereed it might be sore to talk, or maybe a little impaired.. But after a week it'll be normal. If you can't decide, just get both! That's what I ended up doing lol... Peace -

How much does a tongue and lip piercing usually cost? Like in the area of Montreal. I would call my parlour but they are on a vacation lol
