what is the memeber rating for?

I think they're just for fun mostly. But it might also let you know how others are feeling about you too.

On the top right of the screen there's a "my profile" link. You can do a lot of things there, including checking for any private messages that you might have.

The member rating just shows who had posted a lot and who is new to the forum. Obviously, everyone is new right now but I'm sure in a week or 2 we'll have lots of senior members running around!
