i've always though of baseball as the knitting of sports...it's more of a game really, nothing more than people hitting a ball with a stick and running in circles.

If you don't play baseball or never have then its hard for alot of people to get into it. It will always be the American National Pasttime though. Go Astros.

well you run you hit things and you catch things. sounds sporty enough for me. oh and you have umpires. volleyballs a sport.

It depends on what your personal definition of a sport is. If baseball isn't a sport then I would assume that you don't think that there are very many sports. Some people consider lots of things sports. Right now I think the big debate is whether or not NASCAR is a sport.

I can't think of a sport that takes more skill to play than baseball. Hand Eye Coordination is a huge part of the game. Ever tried to hit a baseball with a bat? It ain't easy. Especially when its coming at 90+ mph.
