Sounds like Primerica. I used to be an office manager for a VP of the company. She and her husband made tons of money selling loans, securities, and insurance policies. The higher up guys made millions a year. However, I saw ALOT of people waste their 200 bucks. Many just were not good sales people and dropped it all. Some just did not put enough time and energy into it. They sold a great product (my husband and I bought many IRA's thru them and one of our life insurance policies as well, and even after all these years, we are still happy with them), and there is GREAT money making potential, but bugging people you know to buy your products can be hard, approaching strangers is even worse. And, the financial analysis that they give to securities clients is great, BUT, if its your peers you are trying to sell to, NO ONE wants to give you their personal financial info! So... Alot of folks failed at it, while others made way over 100k per year. Another thing was, you made most of your profits from your recruits(you make $ everytime one from your 'downline' makes a sale)and no one wants to be around people who are constantly harrassing them to join. My boss always bugged my husband and I to do it. We even tried to please her by going to some of the meetings...but we had to tell her NO we are NOT sales people and do NOT wanna do it. She never took no for an answer, guess thats why she was rich tho!
Good luck with whatever you decide!!!
