Okay so I have had my labret for over a month now and I recently posted that I had a white cresent shape forming on the outside of my labret. I was told that it would go away if I just kept up with the sea salt soaks. So I have been doing this since then. But over the Thanksgiving holiday, I had serious issues with my labret, I woke up one morning (wednesday morning) and saw that the cresent shape had gotten larger and harder. I went to my piercer and he said my bar needed to be rebent. So he rebent it, but he bent it to short and about 2 hours later i could feel the pressure of the bar against my lip. So the next morning, Thursday I wanted to go and get it rebent but the shop was closed cause of the holiday. I didn;t want to try and take it out on my own because i didn't want to cause it any un-necessary trauma to it especially since it's a fishtail and I don't know how to take those out.
Anyhow, So I had to wait until Friday to go to the shop and have it rebent, so I go to shop and come to find out my piercer all of a sudden doesn't work there anymore and they didn't have any other piercers there to help me (this is a shop that does tattoos and piercings). So I was told I could wait until saturday until the other piercer got there. I said hell no this thing hurts and it needs to be fixed. So I went to another piercing shop (this was a strictly piercing shop no tattooing) and the guy who help me out said that my labret needed to come out because it had started to develope into scar tissue and basically it was a type of keloid, he told me the name of it but I forgot it. So he suggested that I take it out and let it completely heal and close and re-pierce it if I wanted to have my labret back.
Okay so now you know the deal...I am sooo sorry I know this is really really really long. My question is will this bump go away ever? It basically looks like a pimple now, it's discolored so it looks whiteish,it's hard and there is not liquid or anything coming out of it. Will this go away and will I be able to get my labret re-done or is it a lost cause? Thanks again guys for reading this and helping out. You guys are great!!!
