ok, your problems have definitatly been going on long enough, and for that as a person and as a piercer I am sory!
for starters if you are wearing a ring with any amount of swelling and the "bumps" the depth of the piercing increases to a size that is almost garunteed to to thick for the Dia ring that you have in your ear.
there are 3 options to solve this part:
1) put in a bigger ring (might not be the best idea since the ring might be too large for the area)
2) Barbell or labret with at least 1/16 more extra for swelling and drainage (will need to down size later).
3) a Dring, it has a flat spot on the to (hence the name) they can be bought or custom bent by a piercer. the straight section needs to be equal to the distance from entrance to exit of your piercing.
Any of those options will help allieviate pressure on the piercing from the jewlery, I would consider one of these options to be a must to get it to calm down. they do not have to be permanent just until it has been healed for a while.
QUIT WITH THE DIAL!!!!
I garuntee you that is only making things worse, infact if there is no signs of infection only irritation I would suggest not useing any soap at all at this point.
KEEP UP WITH THE SEA SALT SOAKS! try using a bowl, sit at the table and turn you head, bend over and submerge the piering for about 10 min. at a shot. If you absoluty cannot do this do the compress way. do it at least three times a day. DO IT RELIGOUSLY!
CORTIZONE CREAM is an over the counter cream that is great for problems such as these and can have great results! to use you can simply apply a small ammount to the bumps and gantly massage in. also you can put a bit on the ring and rotate it though the piercing (make sure jewlery is clean first). It is generally best to just do this before bed and then clean thoughly in the morning with a sea salt soak and then a rinse with a qtip or 2 soaked in sea salt solution or WOUND WASH (which can be purchased at any drug store). How ever I have known people to use the cortizone both day and night but still cleaning 2 to 3 times per day.
Remove all risks of irritation! ovoid any unnessisary contact to the piercing with hair products and facial products. dont sleep on it or pick and play with it at all.
If you do not see any improvements with the piercing at all in 2 weeks, I'd just give up on it, let it heal, find a better piercer, and do it again.
If you have any questions feel free to email me or give me a PM.
Good luck, and sorry it has been such a long road.
