i got my lip done and my lips are really chaped can i use chap stick, or will it harm my piercing?

It would be best avoided until you are healed...sorry to say. It could be a breeding ground for all kinds of germs...do you really want to go smearing it around right by your piercing?

I disagree. I have my lip pierced and I used chapstick all the time before it was healed. You just have to be super careful and not get any in the piercing. I'd also recommend just regular, natural chapstick without glitter or anything of that sort. You know, chapstick brand chapstick. Good luck!

i use it too reguarly...my only fear is lipstick after i change it to a ring!!!!! :p

I agree with Mandy, I have had good experience using chapstick during my healing. My piercer said that you can use chap stick (regular kind), but make sure that it is brand new. If you have problems putting it on, use a q-tip.
