Just to refresh your memory's (some need it more than others!) here's the Tribe rules:
Simple Rules for Tribalectic's Forum
1. NO SELF-PIERCING POSTS.
"Tribalectic, while endeavoring to create a community of free expression and sharing, does not condone the practice of self piercing. Tribalectic believes that piercing, when done in a safe environment by a trained professional, can be an enriching and personally spiritual experience. Therefore, it is Tribalectic's policy to close all posts regarding self piercing that are inquiring as to materials, practices, and other means that would help facilitate self piercing."
This includes questions about how-to, whether you should or not, etc. If your question has the words "Should I" and "do it myself", realize that your post is probably going to be locked and may be deleted.
2. Don't post copyrighted material.
This includes pictures from someone else's website. If you don't own it, don't post it. Links to other websites are generally okay.
3. Don't openly argue with your moderators.
They give their time FREELY to this website to help ensure that good information is disseminated. If you have a problem with one of them, please use the private message function or email to communicate with them.
4. Off Topic Posts.
Some off-topic posts will be tolerated if they are of interest to the community at large. This is NOT a forum to spread your particular socio-political interests. If it's about piercing, it's relevant. If it's a birthday/wedding/new piercing announcement, it's relevant (as we are a community after all). If your post gets closed because the moderator feels that it is off topic, please see rule number 3.
5. Play nice. Or try to.
We're a GLOBAL community of culturally, ethnically, economically diverse people. If you can't say something nice to someone, at least be witty in your retort and refrain from using vulgarity. There are minors allowed on the board and we don't want to have Tribalectic shut down because of it. If you must insist on flaming someone, please take it to private message or email or the thread will be closed and perhaps deleted (see rule number 4).
6. Keep your language clean.
We all get irritated (sometimes beyond belief) with our piercings, each other and the world in general. Please find words to use other than the common swear words you might use when you hit your thumb with a hammer. If you can't and the moderator edits or deletes your thread, please see rule #3.
7. Freedom of speech on the Internet.
You are free to say anything you want to on the Internet, ON YOUR OWN WEBSITE.
Thank you for your understanding!
Tribalectic
Obviously rule 4 doesn't apply to this particular forum.
Thanks folks.
