current PA jewelry i just had put in is from steel skin. seems fine so far, just wanted general imput from the other peeps and jewelry afficianados here on the site. My piercer is cool with my bringing in self purchased jewelry as long as he can autoclave it first, but so far, ive used what he buys.

I've been happy with everything I've gotten from Steel Skin. They were very nice and everything arrived quickly.

I've had good experience with them, too. I think I'll order my next tongue barbell from them, since the Industrial Strength one I got from here seems to be a lemon.

cloud, why is it a lemon? if you believe it was defective, tribe may be able to help ya with a replacement. never hurts to ask.

just a note: i've heard that steelskin can have somewhat sharp edges on the shafts.

well, because I check the ball (the top one) every day, but it still comes off; almost swallowed it in my sleep the other day (see other post) and scared the crap outame. That's never happened with any of my other ones, and I've had it for 3 years.

clear nail polish works wonders. ever tried that trick?

In my mouth? And how would I get it off when I wanted it to?
