I posted this in the Disney thread. Playboy has put out a cease and desist(?) order on the marketing of their logo in any thing unauthorized- that includes body jewelry. I was told by my piercer who was told by a supplier that they cannot offer them anymore for sale. And John is right- they are crap, as are most of the stuff out there with logos and hanging jewels and such.

I never understood why girls would wear playboy logos.... hate it myself. I do like the marvel body jewelry though, but I am sure that it isn't top notch quality, and is externally threaded. But it will make my boyfriend like the hole that it is in...and get him to buy me jewelry for it.

I just think wearing the Playboy symbol is sort of trashy, unless you are actually in one of the magazines, then thats a whole different issue. Just my opinion.

I know all of this info. Yes, I agree that the bunny thing is tacky yes, I agree that the jewelry type is crappy, but.....that is what my customers want. I have had MANY requests. Just trying to find a source, is all. Can anyone lead me to that direction??? Thanx

Hey there, I am new to the forum. Just wanted to throw in my two cents worth here. My husband subscribes to playboy magazine and I saw in the recent issue an advertisement for Playboy bunny curved barbells. So I guess you can get them, but you have to get them directly from Playboy.
As far as Disney characters, good luck...I've never known any to be available. I know that Nickelodian licenses some of their cartoon characters i.e. -sponge bob. Hot topic gets a lot of exclusive licensed stuff like that. NOt necessarily the best quality, but if you like novelty stuff like that it's an option.
Anyway, just wanted to give the info.
I'm gonna take my smart-ass attitude back to annoying my co-workers now! Later.

I actually have a playboy navel ring that I did not pay for. I think it is cute but really, its a piece of crap. The silver color is peeling off of it. Yes...this is the kind that is purchased directly from Playboy so don't think if you buy it from them yours will look any better. I tried to get kid of mine and I couldn't even find anyone to take it!
