1) A piercer more than likely will not use jewelry you bring in because they can not give any kind of guarantee for it.
2) I think your mouth would appreciate 1 piercing at a time, but doing both isn't unheard of. Just be careful about having a cbr in the web and a barbell in your tongue. There is the potential for them getting caught together and that will hurt.
3) Ask for
Implant Grade stainless steel or titanium. "Surgical steel" is a vague description and does not guarantee you'll get a quality piece of jewelry.
4) Rinse your mouth after eating or drinking ANYTHING. Sea salt soaking may feel nice too, although making it warm is not necessary. It will rise to the temp. in your mouth.
