Ugh! My right nipple keeps bleeding like crazy! Right now I just need someone to tell me that its not abnormal for a 3.5 day old nipple piercing to bleed for more than a day...

Here is a picture to show just how much its bleeding. The dried blood is very thick and was extremely difficult to separate it from the barbell.

Second: being female my experience may be different then the typical male, but mine didn't bleed anywhere near that much. hell mine barely bled at all. I would be calling the piercer back and asking some questions if I were you.

since you're a guy, I've heard that's not abnormal..there's less to pierce for you....if it really worries you though, I'd go get it looked at...

Yea, I'm gonna stop by my piercer tomorrow if possible.

My nipple piercings did not bleed at all. Both were pierced vertical and one was pierced horizontal much earlier than the vertical piercings. I would have them looked at asap.

and i've had them both done vertically and horizontally... and they didn't bleed at all, either time.

i'm also a freak of nature... but yeah, talk to your piercer

Whoohoo, it bleed SIGNIFICANTLY less last night, so (knock on wood) I think the worst might be over. I'm still gonna go see my piercer today, though.

Both of mine bled a lot. My piercer put clear round circle bandages or coverings over each nipple, by time I got home the left one bled through the bandage and on to my shirt. Just a couple of drops were on the shirt.

The next day I had lots of dried blood all over my nipple area. I took a shower and did SSS and everthing was fine.

It will be two weeks day after tomorrow that I had them done. Everything is fine. I find myself laying on them when sleeping.

I guess I was lucky - I had my nipples pierced (14g cbr) about 6 weeks ago with no real problems - a little bit of spotting, a little pus, a pissed off nipple here and there. But they're fine, now.

For you, though - I've heard that there CAN be heavy bleeding occasionally. Do you have problems with bleeding, otherwise? I mean, are you taking Coumadin, aspirin therapy, or any other blood thinners - or have naturally slower-coagulating blood? That could contribute...

Unfortunately, I have nothing else of value to add, but I thought I'd put that idea out there.
