Just curiosity here...

I've bought some Vit Supplements just to help me not be so tired all the time and give me some more energy, possibly make me healthier.

Anyway just wondering if anyone has ever used to found that their piercings have healed or healed better while using vitamin supplements.

I know I don't have the best immune system/healing due to my diabetes so blame that for me taking a little longer to heal things.

i take them everyday. i believe in them. some people dont. i think it helps a wound like a piercing heal abit faster. i take a megapak from QVC that desolve at different rates so your not peeing so much of it out. i know GNC has started offering something VERY similar.
take your vitamins. it can hurt only help right?

Zinc is good for healing (and also for sexual dysfunction, as in preventing it). A general supplement is OK but don't overdose on mega-levels. Excess vitamin E can have an oxidising effect (aging, too many free radicals), as can other anti-oxidants. A sensible vitamin-mineral supplement will only help if you're deficient, a well balanced diet (yeah, like we all have that) is enough to give you what you need. Smoking, doing drugs, staying out of the sun too long can all lead to a deficiency, especially Vit D. You might also want to consider a supplement with time release pro-biotic components. These will help with digestion and nasties like depression and thrush.

Constant tiredness can mean you're partying too much, not getting enough of the right foods or have an under-active thyroid. Best get a checkup if it is a long-term condition.

Oh, and the bit no one likes to hear, exercise is dead good, the more you exercise the more energy you will have.

Yeh I generally do exercise 2-3 times, sometimes more when I'm not sick. I've had the thyroid check done a couple of years ago and things seems to be alright but maybe I should get it done again.

I don't party enough to make myself tired hehe

For some reason I think it's an iron deficiency but everytime I've had blood tests done in the past my Iron levels have been fine.

I asked the chemist about it and she said just to cut it back if I find i am getting any complications or anything from it. I do eat a balanced diet to some degree but I think it'll just help put that zip back in me.
