My helix piercings confuzzle me. For a while they were pissy. Then I changed my cleaning routine a little and they got better. Then, I slept on them by accident and they didn't hurt at all when I woke up. Wtf mates.

blazing...organic materials like stone, bone, and wood will give you a lot less funk than other materials. Glass isn't bad either, as I wear 00g glass plugs and I don't get much funk.

Hmmm my glasss talons give me more funk than titanium. I had titanium back there too. Hmmm now im wondering. ..and pondering waiting a while and starting over. Perhaps with some stone, wood gives me crazy funk too.

My 6ga lobes are finally starting to feel like they are really 6ga, not shrinking, lol.

I just cleaned them, and man, they were funky. It seems that this 105 degree weather has made them funkier than normal. I was pleasantly surprised, however, to not that the holes appeared just a bit bigger, and I could actually touch my fingers through the hole without a problem.

Maybe my next stretch (not in the near future) won't be so bad!

So I got my right lobe repierced (had to take it out for a play and it closed up) and now my jewelry doesn't match. I feel silly.

I wish I could wear DF too. I friggin HATE o-rings. But by the time I'm about ready to stretch to the next size, I can't resist. I just go for it. I'm at 6g too. A tight 6g. Maybe by my birthday in cough*October*cough I'll be ready for something in 6g that's DF.

How do you get DF plugs in *the first time*? Do you have to taper up to the next size? Or just wear really heavy jewelry for a while until your ears stretch out a bit extra?

I seem to have finally settled into 4g, so I get to finally wear fun earrings.

socalredd, that is how I did it with a DF 2g (taper to 0g briefly). With the DF 0g, I just tilted the lubed jewelry and slid it in
