I wonder if a septum would suit me. I think my nose is a bit too big for one to look good on me. However, my fiance hates them as much as he hates nipple piercings so I would probably not get one anyway.

What is septum funk? Why does it get funky?? How do you stop the funk?

Isn't septum funk along the lines of ear cheese? Or is it just a smell..?

Pretty much like ear cheese, except in the nose :p I completely got rid of it when I stretched to a 6g and was able to wear a skin eyelet in it.

I got some pretty DF plugs in the mail today, but I don't think my ears are ready to wear DF yet.. BAH!

ok so how the crap does one get DF plugs in? Ive never bothered to buy em and figure it out.

O and heres to hoping I dont have to deal with septum funk ever. Or at least for a really long time.

It really isn't all that difficult.. I was wearing DF 0g before I stretched up to a 00g (my favorite pair are ones I got from Miss C ) .. I like DF, then I don't have to worry about o-rings and such

The only thing that sucks (IMO) is that you basically have to be almost ready to stretch up to the next size just to be able to wear DF :rolleyes:

Ahhhhh....in that case im so buying some double flares.At this point my lobes would stretch really easily. yay!!

Tried putting the DF 00g in when I took a shower with plenty of lube, no go.

6 right now, wanting to go to 4 maybe 2. My plan was 6 in the back and 4 or 2 in the front (got lots of room for that) but I got a ton of funk when I started stretching the back. Smelled more than I was willing to deal with so im down to a 14 back there so who knows how big ill get in the front.
