Flatbacks and fishtails are commonly worn in labret and other facial piercings. Flatbacks consist of a shaft with one disc (or disclike end) and one accessory such as a ball, spike, gem, or something else. The accessory ends are all threaded while the discs may or may not be removeable. Fishtails are straight bars with threaded or fixed ends. Fishtails are available either pre-bent or straight. Straight fishtails will need to bent by yourself or your professional piercer. |
