About me:
I have been a body piercer & scarification artist since 2002. I apprenticed for 15 months, 6 days a week, 8 to 10 hours per day throughout my apprenticeship. I didn't take on piercing full time until a few years later. In the years between apprenticing and starting full time I filled in for friends who were piercers when they needed time off. After moving to North Carolina I went to working full time in a studio again. Just to name a couple of the studios in which I've worked, Il Bacio in Farmville, VA, and Inferno Ink in Burlington, NC. All in all, I have about 10 years experience in a shop from just hanging out in them with artists I knew, to working the counter, then apprenticing, and now being a piercer and scarification artist. My goal is to open a studio of my own within the next 5 years. I do all types of piercings, from standards such as ears and nostrils, to exotic, and surface piercings. Exotic piercings being my forte, along with creative multi-point piercings. I am skilled at cutting & skin removal, and tattoo machine scarification. I'm currently favoring tattoo machine scarification as I've learned to add a high level of detail that can't be achieved as easily through skin removal.
