Last week I decided I was goning to find out some info about getting my tongue pierced, so i went down to my local tattoo parlour and asked a few questions and got the answers I was hoping for. He told me to come down any day but tuesday and sunday as he was shut on those days. so the following week i get home from college and plucked up the bottle to trek down there again to get it done, but it was tuesday so the next day i go down their and low and behold on the door it says 'wednesday shut' "DOH!!" I shouted, a few people turn and look at me. I rind up my dad to find out if their are any other peircing places and he reply's "hang on and il ask around" so i stand their waiting for a reply."Theirs one along in town by the post office"So off i go to this other place. I walk in through the door."Is this the place for piercings" i ask"Well we've jus shut but yes we are""ARGH, um i dont spose you can fit me in for a tongue piercing its jus the las...""John have you packed it all up" she cut in with" whats he want done?" A voice from the back asked"tongue!""go on then"I pay and go into the back room where im asked to sit on this medical bed. I get given a load of tissue for incase i drool, i asked if there was gona be any anesthetic and he said there was no need. he then gets these kinda scissors with a hole on the end and puts it on my tongue"Thats as hard as im gona hold it"Now i couldn't feel anything, and people had told me the clamp was the worst thing. he then goes"3""2""1"and pushes the needle through, to be honest it felt like someone gently pinchin u for half a second. So im sitting there with this 3 inch metal bar in my tongue while he gets hold of the bar i should have in there. and again goes "3""2""1"and pushes the bar through and the 3 inch bar out.he then screws the balls on shows me it in the mirror and off i go. with my bottle of mouthwash and a metal bar.It doesn't hurt it hasn't bled and the swellings already goin down. I eat a proper meal on the same nite and every nite since, well, it's only been 2 nites.today the ball came off but thats coz i forgot to tighte it this morning. Any way it's the best thing iv done to my body. and all the girls at college wer very intrigued heh heh. Anyone thinking about it or not should have this done.
