I believe that the actions
Posted on April 21, 2008, 9:27 pmI believe that the actions described in that are classified as RAPE. I woke up one night being raped, and nine months later my bride presented me with a baby girl. That I didn't mind. The guy in that rant is either the biggest a-hole in the world or the biggest bull s**tter.

"beating work; so do yelling
Posted on April 22, 2008, 12:48 am"beating work; so do yelling and bullying. Threats are also effective, as long as everyone knows you mean business (a convenient 'fall down the stairs' always works). With wives, throwing things, pushing her around and body blows are particularly useful"
I don't know about the US, but there are laws against that here. Just because a battered woman is so confused, often because he says he does because he loves her, and doesn't know how to leave, does not excuse his crime. It's a touchy subject since a friend (who is no happily engaged the most darling little girl) was an an abusive relationship at school. And that was awlful because he was eighteen and we weren't. She begged us not to go to the police though.

Lol- yeah, she is a bit of a
Posted on April 22, 2008, 8:38 amLol- yeah, she is a bit of a c**t, isn't she? I would have not thought it possible for us to be in unequivocal agreement about anything, but I'm totally with you on that one.
It's not the message, it's how she says it. I hate people with an overinflated sense of entitlement, and she fits the bill perfectly.
I want to punt her in the cooch.

Yeah, Im all for equality
Posted on April 22, 2008, 9:00 amYeah, Im all for equality in a relationship but it seems like she keeps her husband in a cage or something.I can totally see her telling him he is a dumb ass and the like.
I do have to admit I read the quoted one first and was like uh that sounds like rape and abuse

B**ch doesn't deserve a man
Posted on April 23, 2008, 4:53 amB**ch doesn't deserve a man like that
*Goes and gets her man and shows her love and affection for him in special ways*
She's totally exagerating anyway, but if it bothers her so much, all she really has to do is TALK to her husband about it and have him explain to thier friends and neighbors that it is only fair.

, honestly. And requiring that her husband share house work is hardly akin to "keeping him in a cage." I think she could have come off a tad better, but honestly, the point she makes is true.

^^ I think people think that
Posted on April 24, 2008, 5:30 am^^ I think people think that because she doesn't appreciate the work he actually does, which she should because very few men would do stuff like that.

They gathered for the feast
They stab it with their steely knives,
But they just can’t kill the beast

because she treats her husband like a child and seems to actually be proud of it. Having sex with him has nothing to do with passion or desire. It is more akin to a chocolate chip cookie given as a reward or withheld as punishment. When women wonder why men cheat on them, this is one reason why. When grounded from affection as a means of control, eventually he will go to the store and get his own damn cookies.

both my man & i have full
Posted on April 24, 2008, 7:47 amboth my man & i have full time jobs & we both share housework/cooking/cleaning/paying bills etc if it was me doing housework & not getting paid at a real job then we wouldn't be able to afford to live. simple as that. its impossible to live on 1 wage now, gone are the days when the man goes to work & the woman stays at home.
i understand what the woman is saying & i agree with some points ( sharing the work & the fact everyone swoons over a man that does dishes, why ?!!! ) BUT i think the woman sounds unreasonable & i would probably have buried her under the patio by now...
I'd sell.....my soul....my self esteem....a dollar at a time... for 1 taste......of you, my magdelana...

Posted on April 24, 2008, 11:34 amIt's not that she's asking her husband to share equally in the housework- there's nothing wrong with that. But she's talking about him like he's a dog or a commodity.
She could be talking about her plan for world peace and she'd still come off sounding like a self-entitled t**t.
If a dude spoke of a female in that way, you bet your ass it would get more coverage and more outrage.
The sad part is that guys like that seem to think that's just the way women are, shrug, and accept it. They're both at fault. I feel sorry for them- that must be a really crappy marriage.
