Hey yall, my name is Les. I've been wanting to get my labret pierced ever since i was just 8 years old (now i'm 12)and i decided to ask my parents about it last week. I knew they wouldn't mind because i already have my ears and my tongue pierced. All my friends had this piercing done too, so i knew what to do for aftercare and all that .. but besides that.. So first i asked my dad. He said he would think about it. I asked him the next day and he said "It's up to your mother". Like always. I asked my mom and she just looked at me for awhile. She finally said well if it's what you want, i will take you. I thanked her for letting me. So ever since then i had been anticipating when i would FINALLY get my labret pierced! So me and my parents made an agreement that if i passed all my classes when we got progress reports i could get it. And well.. i passed! I got 2 A's 2 C's and 1 D on my progress report--which we got Friday. So yesterday i got it done. I went to the piercing shop near my house here in Battle Creek, MI. I went in, and my mom had to show her id, and sign the papers. So once that was done she went with me and the piercing guy to the piercing room. haha. Anyway, we got back there and i picked out the jewelry. While he got the package i needed with the needle, jewelry, etc in it, i had to gurle with this mouthwash. He opened up all the new materials w/ gloves on and then he explained what was going to happen. Which i alreaydy knew. So after he was done explaining to me and my mom he marked where he was going to pierced and we proceeded to go on because my mom liked the position and so did I. Next he got them little tongs out and clamped my lip so that he could pierce it easier i guesss. My mom was holding my hand becuz she always gets scared when i get somethign pierced even though she has her nose and ears pierced. Finally he had me breath in and out for at least 10 times lol, then he put the needle through. I never woudl have known it was going through if i hadn't seen my moms face. PRICELESS! So all in one swift motion, he pulled the needle through with the jewelry on one end, and then he screwed on the ball. I looked in the mirror, and i loved it. It's awesome. I can't wait to show my girlfriend. And my mom likes it so much now that she is going to get it done too!
