After several months of toying with the idea of giving myself a piercing, last night I actually did it. A great deal of research went into this first piercing - a vertical pubic piercing. Everyone says these have a fair chance of migration/rejection but we'll see. I used a 12 gauge 3/4" curved barbell. The bottom is about 1/8" above the base of the penis. I had everything in place, needle, clamp, gloves, surgical scrub, provine wipes and so on. The biggest surprise was that it was essentially painless!

I do surface piecings all the time, nothing new for me. Always on my wrist or my arm somewhere so people can see em'. I do a bunch, it freaks people out. But I always end up taking them out. My friends say I should do my nape, but I cant because it'd get tangled in my dreads. It doesnt hurt either, I have somewhat of a pain tolerance whe it comes to needles. I LOVE NEEDLES

About 3 weeks ago I had gotten my neck or called nape pierced.When I first went into my work (Unique Tattooing) where I work as cutomer service, the piercer asked me if I wanted a piercing... Well of course not letting the chance slip past me, I accepted!

I got my nape pierced yesterday, had got my PA 2 months before so reconned I could handle the pain! I went in the day before to ask about it and ended up getting measured up as my piercer makes the surface bars himself to suit! Went for a 20mm PTFE surface bar as he has most sucess with them!

I was in one of my weird piercing moods, I'm really loving the corset, but I chose a sternum. It's not as long as I wanted it to be, but then I think about how I'm the only one around here with a sternum. I can't wait to show everyone. It have so much adrenaline because I don't want my parents to find out, and because it's amazing.

I have done many surface piercing on myself and most of them didnt hurt bad. Just remember that most surface piercing dont ever fully heal and the longer the piercing the less it will heal. Most of them could migrate out as well.Overall they arent bad.

On October 9, 2004 I got my nape pierced. It was such as rush. My neck is a sexual spot and that is one of the reasons I wanted to get it pierced. The pain was more intense than all my other piercings, but I think in the long run it will be well worth the pain and money. I have got many different reactions from the people I have showed it to, or have heard about it. I don't think anyone else has it done quite like me.
