When I was 16yrs old I had an auto accident causing me to need 6 stitches across the outer area of my septum, of-course the resulting scar from the stitches went deep into the area where a septum piercing would go as a result we ran into some difficulty with the procedure , and this is a recount of that experience: Jon K., my piercer and close friend had done the piercing for my b-day gift and, after setting up for the piercing, called for a septum. I sat in the chair and he applied the forceps and headed for the needle .

Myself and my wife are having septum pierced and golden rings dangling upto upper lip. The ends of the rings are welded so that the ring cannot be taken out of the piercing. if the rings are to be removed , either the ring or the piercing is to be cut off.
Whenever we go out during week ends I used to attach a thin golden chain with my wifes ring and hold the other end with my hand.I will cover her eyes with a black cloth so that she cannot see anything.

well after a long think on wether to go ahead with the idea of a septum piercing, i though about all the usual things,will i suit it , will it hurt?

I was bored one night so i decided to pierce my septum. i did it because my girlfreind wanted me to and she has her septum done too. im not sure about everyone else my mine hurt like a bitch. anyways ive for a couple days and all my freinds say its looks pretty cool. my parents dont know cuz i flip it up at night but whatever. i like it.

Hey I had my Septum pierced at a 14 gauge yesterday after noon, less than 24 hours later. It aint that bad. Sleeping hurt a little but not much. 14 gauge 3/8 lenth circular barbell. I've had my labret and eyebrow done at 16 but didn't work out. Ears stretched at one inch. Don't worry what other people think about your piercings or other body mods. They arn't you. only you can decide what is right for your body. GO FOR IT!

On 12-03-06 I got my septum peirced,it didn't hurt.The peircer wasn't technicly in good shape to be peircing,but I still let him.I mean "I came this close no turning back" I thought,but it was perfectly fine,untill I got arested on 1-19-07,.I had to take it out,along with all my other peircings ;lebret,eyebrow,tounge.LucklyI didn't have to take out any of my ears,cause the gauges were stripped.I was only locked up for 7 hours (not much) but it was enough to let the septum heal.It was painfree so in the near future (when I get off house arest) I'm going to get it repierced.

After much thought I decided to get this piercing. I went to a well recommended friend, and he answered all my questions. Today, I went to his home, and he sat me down. One of the first questions was, "Did you tell your parents?" Mind you, I'm 25, so my parents really have no say, but I told them out of respect. They were, well rather perturbed. He then proceeded to check the angles and position with a captive bead ring, marking just the spot. He then put the septum clamp on.. Ouch!

Quick. Painless. Fun. Your eyes well up because it's a sensitive area, but it's easy to take care of and heals quickly.

well i had been thinking about haveing a septum for quite a long time now but only today i got it done.after walking around shitting myself for about two hour i just desided to go and get it.after paying and getting sat down then all of the nerves started to get to me.then he got the clamp and got it level to my nose (special clamp for septum peirsings)then after he got the needle and started to puch throught which was quite a lot of pain then got a tube and slided it throught.(i have a bar in)but after all of that i thought that it was worth every penny dont be scared about getting a septum p

It started as bordum one night in my room. I had been wanting a piercing for awhile now and I had started look on the internet, when I saw some septums and I was hooked I had to have one.
