I made the spur of the moment decision to get my daith done about six months ago. I had thought about it before, just never had the right combination of money, time, and nerve. When I got there, I filled out all the paperwork and signed the forms, decided on my right ear as the spot, then picked out my new CBR to go in my newest hole in the head (just what I need lol). The piercing itself didn't hurt at all, I felt a little uncomfortable pressure but other than that, no real pain or bad stinging, and didn't hear any pop or crunch.
I've wanted my daith pierced for a long time now, and decided to get my daith and antitragus done. I was a little nervous about the placement of the piercing but I wasn't too concerned about the pain. Kenny marked it and clamped it. It was more forceful than I expected but it wasn't bad. I could hear it popping through though. I'd definitely do it again, it wasn't bad at all, I really really love it, Kenny says it fits pretty perfectly in my ear too, I'm very happy with it.
I've been thinking about getting a piercing for awhile. Originally, I thought about doing my nipples. But, I changed my mind and did my clitoral hood (horizontal). This is one of the best things I have ever done for myself!

I just had a daith piercing six days ago. It didn't hurt when it was done (the piercer was very fast and explained everything as she did it). The problem is that it is still very tender to the touch and I am having trouble with my SSS. Is this normal for this type of piercing? Also, about a month ago I had my nostril pierced and now I have a bump with a black ring around it. It's very unatractive any suggestions as to what to do for this type of problem? Is this bump permaneant? I am a new piercee.

It is 4 hours old and I can barely tell it is there. There wasn't any pain getting pierced just some pressure. It kind of freaked me out because I was expecting pain and didn't feel any. I'm loving it already! If you are looking to get this piercing, I say go for it!
I hadn't had a new piercing in 8 years, though I'd been dreaming and planning for years.I finally found a place where I felt comfortable and knew I was dealing with professionals.I got a daith, 14g CBR. It is beautiful. Wes was great, we talked a long time about piercing in general, and he made me feel quite safe and comfortable. It didn't hurt, really.
I'm not sure if my piercing qualifies as a daith or an antihelix/forward helix because I've seen so many different pictures etc of this piercing. I was definitely way way too nervous about getting this done - it was not painful at all. The pain was totally bearable and worth it. This piercing is so different and edgy but still cute and small enough so its not too hardcore...BUT JUST DIFFERENT ENOUGH. Nobody I know has it, and I LOVE IT. Best decision i ever made.
