My Anti-tragus

Submitted by pinkvix in Female Antitragus Experiences on November 2nd, 2008

I decided I wanted my anti tragus pierced about 2 weeks ago had it pierced a week.
I spoke to my piercer and she said that her apprentice was looking for people to pierce I ask whether she would be able to do my anti tragus she said sure I wasnt nervous as my eyebrow was done by an apprentice plus I trust my piercer 100% an added bonus ws I got the piercing done for alot cheaper than usual due to it being done by the apprentice.

I wasnt really nervous when having it done as I this was piercing no.31 but I had the excited butterflies in my belly.

antitragus

I went in to get my daith done, and ended up deciding to get my antitragus done as well. Each on different ears so I was a little nervous to sleep =X The clamp was probably the most painful, but the piercing was the most painful I've had so far. It wasn't unbearable, it was just the fact that it had to be forced through more than any of my other piercings. But it still went by pretty quick. It bled, not a lot, but a decent amount to where it looked bad before I could get to cleaning it. It's still a little sore but it's not painful.

My Antitragus

I just got my antitragus done yesterday. The piercist told me that between the antitragus and the rook, he'd recommend the rook because supposedly the antitragus is more painful and takes more time to heal. I decided to go with the antitragus though, and i'm so glad that i did! I got it done with a curved barbell. It barely hurt at all, and it looks freakin sweet! It didn't give me any problems while i slept and it hasn't hurt what-so-ever all day. It's not even sore. I definitely recommend it to anyone who is contemplating getting that part of their ear pierced Laughing out loud

I have almost every part of my ear peirced, including a full length industrial vert. they're all so amazing, and the pain i endured from all them was so worth it. total i have about 42 holes in my ears, and every one of them is special to me. anyone who wants a peircing, i would definatly get it, even if your scared. becuase pain is temporary, and the piercings look beautiful! my tragus was probably the most painful, seeing as i wanted to pass out, but you just can't think about whats happening and then its fine. good luck to everyone!

I had my antitragus pierced a few days ago. The piercing for me was not painful, just a quick pinch and then it was done. The piercer put in a very large cbr. Today, I went back and had him put in a curved barbell. The cbr wasn't painful, just wasn't comfortable. It was large and awkward looking. Right after the barbell was put in, It immediantly felt more comfortable. If you have it pierced, I would reccmmend going with the barbell over the cbr. It was a quick and easy piercing to get.

I got my antitragus on feb 19/07. i wasn't planning on getting a piercing that day, but i said what the hell, went in and nobody i knew had one so i decided to get it. it's not quite an antitragus cause my piercer said my anti- is extremely thick and would take a long time to heal, so i got it a little above. It looks great. it is a little tender but not overly. I got a barbell personally i think it looks cooler, and my piercer said she feels they heal faster as well, and i can see why, they don't get bumped around as much as the rings do.

I just got my antitragus done yesterday, and I won't lie to anyone: it was extremely painful - by far the most painful piercing I've experienced (I have 5 facial piercings besides). I suppose it's because there's a whoooole lotta cartilege right there that the needle has to go through. It was definitely sore afterward and even now (a day later) when I touch/clean/bump it, but it's getting much better. However, for anyone thinking of doing it, just do it anyway even if you're scared of the pain.

I had my tits done - horizontal 12g nipple piercings - and it HURT!!! After the first one I was tempted to call it quits and forget about the second one, but I decided to go through with it anyway because I didn't want to look "lopsided." It hurt even worse! Probably because I was anticipating the pain and the other one was still throbbing. My nipples are big and very sensitive so maybe it was because it had to go through a lot of tissue. My husband was holding my hand and he almost fainted!

Well, i walked into the piercing studio quite confidently, after having my tragus done months ago thinking it would be nearly exactly the same, as teh tragus didnt hurt me.Im not going to lie, I was wrong. It hurt. I shed a tear, but kept my composure, and after it was done it was fine. I love it now as its different. Id encourage anyone to get it done, as the pain only lasts a little while, where as teh piercing lasts forever.
