When I decided to get my tongue pierced, I didn't know where to go. I stopped by a place that had an impressive website, but the guy at the counter, and then the piercer, both looked at my tongue and said my tongue wouldn't work thanks to a big fat vein in the middle. Bummer. Or, as I discovered, lucky for me...
didnt hurt at all , even with my low pain tolerence level. the only other piercing that hurt less was my eyebrow. =]
I've been wanting to get my tongue pierced for several years but didn't because of all the horror stories I was told about how much it hurt. My experience is that it didn't hurt at all. In fact, I didn't even feel it. I got mine done at Twizted Ink in Alvarado, Texas which is also where I had my tattoo done. Anyone in the Fort Worth, Texas area that wants to get it done, I highly recommend Twizted Ink. I love my piercing although I don't plan on getting anymore. I'm currently looking for some different barbells that I can wear.
Been wanting tongue done for about 3 years now parents wouldent let me they thought it was gay. Finaly turned 18 so i was like time to get it done. Went up to The Salty Dog Tattoos and met the piercer his name was Bear. Well he had one person in front of me so i waited like 20 min was th elongest 20 min ever. Finaly got to my turn and singed the release forms and paid the man. sat down in the chair then he spun the chare towards the door so my Uncle and his Girlfriend could watch that was little uncomfortable.
I was walking around one day and all of a sudden, I felt like I want to do something random and something that no one would expect me to do. I had a thought once or twice about getting my tongue pierced, but I was not THAT into it. However that day I thought I might get it just for the hell of it. So I walked into a well known Tattoo and Piercing parlor. Even though I have no previous piercing experience in my life, to me this was the least painful thing. I did not have any problem eating because no swelling occurred or at least no that I know of because I was able to eat perfectly fine.

Hey all, I'm 15 and live in Darlington, England. I really wanted to get it done so I went down to the place and the piercer asked me to wash my mouth out with some listerine, so I did, then she clamped my tongue and stuck a needle through. I'm not gonna lie (i think some people do on this experiences thing) but it did hurt, she didn't numb it so I don't know what thats about, anyway it's day three and it's not swollen much anymore so I suggest you go get it done for about 35 pounds or whatever it is where you live.
