i pierced it myself. im in the middle of a snakebite. so i only have my left side done..but once i get my right side done ill put some pics up. The needles however are kinda painful, but other than that and the after piercing pain its one of the best decisions i have ever made. next to my ear gauges. but i strongly reccomend you do it..even do it urself.

my lower lip is the least favorite of my parents' piercings of mine. the first time i did it, i used a 16 gauge ring and simply forced it through my lip. as soon as my mother saw it she burst into tears. this was not the reaction i was looking for, in fact, i was not looking for a reaction at all. now i use a clear labret, or retainer, to keep the hole open in front of my parents while i use a skull stud labret to wear out of the house.

I pierced my own labret last night. Now I've heard stories about people taking hours to shove a bloody needle through, and going really slowly. If you ask me thats pretty stupid. Me and my friend tom were at my house and got bored so we decided to pierce my ear, (i already had 3 ear piercings i just wanted to add 1 more on my left ear for symetry) which was simple enough. I then decided that i would do my labret. I first got 2 pieces of ice and numbed the out of it on both sides for 10 minutes and sterelised the needle and piercing with vodka.

HEY WATS UP PPL... I JUS GOT MY LABRET @ RUBIN IMPORTS... THE PERCING DIDNT HURT @ ALL IT JUST FELT A LITTLE WEIRED WHEN IT WENT THROUGH. I HAVE NO SWELLING OR ANY THING I COULD EAT FINE THE ONLY THING BAD IS THAT THE BAR IS REALLY LONG ND IT KINDA MESSES WITH MY GUMS BUT ODER DEN DAT IF U WANNA GET IT IT LOOKS SEXi ND IT DOSENT HURT 4 !

well,i have my labret done for more than a month and its almost heald up.i dont even remember if it was a painfull experiance cosse it didnt hurt at all.i love piercing thats why i am getting my eyebrow done this summer.if you like pierced lip dont listen to any jokers with horror stories,just go for it.i know that i did and i am verry pleased with the results,no pain no shame.

Hey. I got my labret done for a Christmas present. I went into my closest town to get it done and I was sh*tting myself asking the woman just how much it was. I had only got my lobe and ear-cartilidge done for the first time the day before, and they didn't hurt, but I was worried all the same.She got me all worked up for nothing - she asked for ID and, relieved, I said I didn't have it with me. I thought I wasn't ready for it, but soon as I got home I wanted it again. So I went to another near-by town with ID this time to get it done.

Well it was on wed. october 26th when i decided that i wanted to pierce my lebret ... myself i might add ... and i know i didnt do any of it right ... i didnt have the right supplies to do it right ... no cleaning materials or anticeptic stuff or anything ... not even a lebret stud .. so i got some Anbesol and rubbed some on the inside of my lip ... waited a lil bit ... then i got my big safety pin and pushed it right through ... and let it sit for a few minutes ... so the needle was only about the size of a 16 gage and the only 16 gage piece of jewelry i had was an eyebrow ring ...

I got mine a little while back and it didnt hurt as bad as i thought it would. It was the most random thing ive done. I got back from a weekend at my parents house and went to the first plce i could find and just got it done.

i got ma labret done just last saturday nd when the others say it dun hurt blieve it its like a lil scratch nd then bout 1 min after that its all done nd work thinks its awesome but due to healty and safety i gotta cover it up which suck big time
