Wow!

I finally got my nippies done on 10/17. I was really excited about getting them done. My piercer,Cindy was very professional and reassuring during the whole procedure. She examined my nipples to fine the perfect spot for the piercing and chose the perfect gauge. She did my left nipple first. I didn't really feel the clamp go on the nipple as I have lost some sensation from a partial masectomy almost 9 years ago. When the needle went through it was a bit uncomfortable,but managable. My right nipple was harder to do. It hurt when the clamp went on.

I just love my piercings. I was a little concerned about the pain, so considered only getting one done. My piercer was great, and after I told him that I'd really like both done but didn't want to plan both and then back out, he said he'd set up for 2 and I could decide after the first one. Well, he was so good it really only felt like a sharp pinch, so I decided to go for the second one straight away. I probably would have ended up going back for the second anyway, seeing as I like geometric symmetry!

I went to get my nipples pierced a week ago at Pro Body in West Yorkshire. These were my first piercings ever so although I wasn't nervous, I wasn't sure exactly what to expect.

Yesterday a friend and I decided that we were going to get pierced. Shes wanted her tongue pierced for years and i've wanted my nipples pierced for about a year but never had the courage to actually do it. So we decided to go to Atomic Tattoo in Lahaina. Debra pierced us and she is absolutely wonderful. She explained how to clean my piercings and take care of them. She made me feel extremely comfortable. I recommend her to anyone shes so great!

I had been wanting to get my nipples pierced for a month or so. I just didn't have the nerve to get them done because I had heard they hurt. I posted in the forum here on Tribe to get an idea of what others thought of the pain. With my newfound knowledge I knew I was going to get them done. I just decided one Wednesday I was going to the shop where I had my PDB, and have Brooke (love her!) pierce them because she had done my VCH. I called and they informed me she had went to they're new shop on the other side of town.

My boyfriend had mentioned a few times how sexy it would be for me to have my nipples pierced. I had gotten my first true piercings (Both Tragus) in December and was starting to get the itch to go again. So I decided for Valentines day I would get my nipples done for my boyfriend (I wanted to get them done anyway, so I thought it was a pretty good excuse). I went to the shop and set up my appointment for the 15th of February with my two favorite piercers.

Well I had never planned to get my nipples pierced, but I decided to on a whim. I wanted something pierced that could be hidden at work, and I already had a friend that had hers done. So she took me to her piercer. I wasnt very nervous, just excited. I decided to go with 14g captive bead hoops, after consulting with the piercer.

Making it to the next level of ones higher consciousness is a big thing. I know a lot of people out there (young people especially) are piercing their bodies because it is "Cool" but the reason I pierced my nipple is because I needed to do something that would bring me to a higher plane in my life (not to mention how sexy it looks and feels). I was visiting my new boyfriend in LA. He is extremely open-minded and agreeable to most anything I want to try (LOVE THAT ABOUT HIM) so when I told him my desire to do this he was excited and looked up the best places in LA to get pierced.
