I just got my tongue pierced a few days ago. All I have to say is that anyone who wants to get it done and is scared shouldn't be. I have the top and botton of my belly button pierced and that hurt much more than my tongue did. As long as you keep ice on it it wont swell that bad. The only thing uncomfortable about getting it pierced is the way you talk for the next few days. Just make sure you clean it, i have seen infected ones and they aren't pretty.
