I got my tongue pierced on Monday (it's now Sunday), and the piercing itself was fine. The piercer went through the process with me and aftercare. When making the hole herself, all she did was put my tongue in the clamp, tell me to breath in (she pushed the needle through), breath out (she took it out), breath in again (she put the bar in) and that was it. All over in about 20 seconds and not painful at all.It's Sunday now (6 days later) and with a decent amount of aftercare the swelling has gone completely, I can eat normally and can talk again. It's still a little tender, but apart from that it should be healed in a couple of weeks with some aftercare.
