Posted on June 9, 2008, 4:48 pmRooks are super cute! I got my first one done about a year ago in my left ear and it took almost 3-4 months before i could sleep on it. I got my right ear rook done some time ago and i was sleeping on it the next day and have yet to have ANY pain. I got a double rook in my left ear and again, no pain! My piercer Dave, who is the BOMB, did an amazing job and so far I have had ZERO pain with my ears. I recently got my conch pierced and no pain during the piercing but has been sort of sore to sleep on, but ears are funny with healing. It can take almost 12 months to fully heal so dont expect your ear to be better in a few weeks. Also, everyone is different and heal at different rates so you may be good to go in a month or so. Good luck =]

Posted on September 21, 2008, 4:18 amYou poor thing. I got my rook done recently, and it was a bit of a pinch while it was done and hasn't hurt a bit since. I feel sorry for anyone who gets subjected to these piercers who don't know what they're doing. If it is done right, it shouldn't bother you too much. Then again, that might just be your body type. If you're ever in MI, look up Da Vinci's. They'll hook you up for sure.
