well yesterday i took the plung..i have researched it for about 10 days...but have always admired them -- but being the conservative business man, never really considered getting one...i also thought about "what will it be like in 30 years" . With life having so many crazy responsibilities to it, work being a grind, i figured it was time to give myself something special. I read many of these expereinces and asked some folks who have them what they recommended and who they recommended. I went to Obscurities peircing in Dallas and Pam did the piercing...It was a little on the high side of cost (close to 100) but it was a super clean and she was very very good. She reasured me and made me feel comfortable throught the pierceing. I had it done around 1:00 pm. It felt like a catheter going in and then a quick pinch...not really painful at all...i really wasn't worried about pain of the procedure i was more concerned with bleeding afterwords. I barely bled at all...I went out and went shopping for the rest of the afternoon..came home around 4:30..laid down for a short nap, after peeing - some blood spotting then..rested and then went out to a bar that night for a few hours...have been taking very good care of it -- followed instructions to the t. I soaked it for 10 minutes in a sea salt and distilled water solution for 10 minutes..put some fresh guaze around it (loosly)....drink lots of water...and that's it....Less than 24 hours later, i'm very happy with the entire expereince and the look...as far as my initial concerns go, i belong to a medical group online and asked them too if there was a problem with doing this in future years...a guy who is in his 60s said he's had his for 30 years and never had a problem and said it was the best thing he's ever bought in his life...that sold me. I know every expereince is different but i have to say, mine was GREAT.
