Making it to the next level of ones higher consciousness is a big thing. I know a lot of people out there (young people especially) are piercing their bodies because it is "Cool" but the reason I pierced my nipple is because I needed to do something that would bring me to a higher plane in my life (not to mention how sexy it looks and feels). I was visiting my new boyfriend in LA. He is extremely open-minded and agreeable to most anything I want to try (LOVE THAT ABOUT HIM) so when I told him my desire to do this he was excited and looked up the best places in LA to get pierced. So for my birthday he took me to the place we chose and had my right nipple done. It was exhilarating. Baring my breast to a total stranger for him to poke a hole through it. Bearing my breast to a group of tattoo artists afterward for them to see his work. And letting my new boyfriend watch me (albeit disappointed that it didn't make me wince!) It felt amazing, no pain, no sweat! I would do it again......
