Our last kitty had seven
Posted on August 19, 2008, 9:52 pmOur last kitty had seven claws on each paw. While this is not unique she was the only cat that we have had that only scratched on the scratching post.

Disclaimer- No, I do not think genetic disorders that disfigure are funny. I do however, find them very interesting
I guess what I'm trying to say that it is not a game when human suffering is involved.
But the cat is damn funny.

Ok I'm going to sound insane
Posted on August 20, 2008, 2:32 pmOk I'm going to sound insane here, but that baby with the big eye for a face is actually really cute. Can they survive like that?
Squeam challenge fail, none of that grossed me out.
I wouldn't even know where to find half the 'gross' stuff you do Phal, you're like the magical grossout woman

Aw shucks, you've made my day.
No, they cannot survive long with cyclopia. I believe the longest lived human baby born with the condition lived in India and made it to 11 days before expiring. They usually die minutes after birth.
The condition is not limited to humans- it is present in many mammals.
To answer the other statement, I don't watch TV. I spend entirely too much time on the internet in the wee hours of the morning and somehow, I stumble upon this stuff. I've got a weird fascination with medical abnormalities.
