I'm going in for my first piercings (8g tunnels in both lobes) and want to know where people have had good experiences?

I do not live anywhere close, but I hear in posts that Slave to the Needle is a decent shop. With any luck someone close to you will tell you if I am right or wrong. This may get the thread started. Also in the Community section at left there is a shop directory that will tell you the name and location of shops in your area, but will not recommend them. Good luck.

John Lopez used to work out of Slave to the Needle. He may be able to make a recommendation. I've only lived here a little over a week, so I haven't even had a chance to check any of the local shops out.

It's about time someone did something with that team. Being a born & raised Detroiter, I do not want to see them win it all, but it would be nice to see one of the original teams competitive again.

I was just in Slave to the Needle a few weeks ago and had a really good experience. I ended up with two 8g scrotal piercings to start a ladder... the shop is really clean and the piercer I had was super nice and professional. Also if you have to wait there is a ton of really cool artwork to look at in addition to the tattoo artist and piercer portfolios...
