You could always gradiate color in it instead of it being plain black..say from black to dark purple to light blue or something similiar. You could switch the side of the dots, or add another, actually, were it me, i'd take those two dots off the side and do one above and one below the heart, just cause I like things evened out! Theres all kinds of little changes you can make to make it your own without really adding to it!

that is an awesome design! I have always looked at "music" related tattoos but never seen that design before.

You can't change the dots cos then it wouldn't be a bass clef anymore, I like the graduated colour idea though.

Maybe you could think of a background?

You are right about 109234726456843 people having it. I planned on getting the clef heart myself, but larger. I was planning on doing each clef a different color and no outline. Purple and blue more than likely.

I set up an appointment with my tattoo artist today for Monday at 2pm! I am really excited!

I decided to just get each clef a different color with no outline. I chose a pretty turquoise color and a darker yellow. I just hope that the yellow is dark enough that you will be able to tell what the design is.

Anyway.. yay!

i think if it were me, id be wierd with it. Id do it so it was like a negative. instead of doing the design, you could colour the skin round where the design would be so the negative space makes up the design. kinda like youve put a piece of paper on your skin, painted round it and then took it off.
