The piercing itself is straight forward. Your piercer will suggest jewelry type gauge and size. You then may or may not be marked for placement. Usually a receiving tube is inserted, this is the worst part, and then you will be given breathing instructions and the needle will be passed through and the jewelry inserted, usually a 10 or 12 gauge cbr. This piercing is prone to bleeding and will do so for a few days. Light day female pads with paper towel on the adhesive to hold them to the ladies panties folded over your member, not around it and held loosely with a rubber band. sometimes even with a baggie over it is effective in keeping the blood from being all over your clothes. Placing your penis into a cup of warm water the first time that you urinate is also soothing and helps to loosen the clotted blood. With that metal in your urine stream things tend to spray all over you probably will sit down to pee to keep from hitting your shoes. You will hear many ways to stand and urinate, good luck. The piercing is also easy to stretch so going to a bigger gauge jewelry is very easy. For this same reason once the piercing hole has healed and streched a few sizes it will never really close so this is a lifetime piercing.
Now thatt you know what to expect go have it done, get it healed and enjoy the feel of metal hanging from your penis.
1/4 tsp sea salt to 8 oz of water. You will want this as warm as is comfortable and in something that will allow you to cover the head and piercing for a ten minute soak. When you have finished the soak rinse in plain water and gently dry with a paper towel.
do this twice a day until the site has healed. That and a gentle wash in the shower is all it will need. You will hear about H2Ocean and Provon soap. H2Ocean is over priced sea salt solution with an additive that you do not want and Provon while a good product is just expensive overkill. It is used as a scrub in the OR before gloving to kill as much bacteria as possible on the hands and arms of the surgeon and nurses that are going to be in the OR. Any anti bacterial soap will work to clean your hands prior to handling the unhealed piercing. If you kill all of the good bacteria on your body you are not doing the healing a favor so do not use it at the piercing site.

By the way when that big bad man comes at Willie with a big sword in his hand Willie is going to run and hide. That happens with most of us. Your brain is going to tell it that what is going to happen next is going to hurt. It is like wham, bamm, thank you maam and is over. If you wear tight jeans post piercing you will have some ouch experiences when you sit down until healed.

I just got my PA about 12 days ago...

I guess I should start by saying I began researching the whole piercing idea back in March or April....then got my first piercing in April (a pubic). I think at this point I was curious and ballsy enuff to get it done, but still too chicken to get the ultimate, a PA. The first was a breeze....although it eventually began to stop healing, and I puled it out 8 days ago (as it was being badly rejected by my body). Back to April,.....I got a second piercing, a hafada, two weeks after my pubic. A little more daring, but still not the PA. It was easier that the first.

I got the itch again about 3 weeks ago, and went into a different shop. I chatted to their piercer, and decided to get it done (three weeks ago this Thurs).

The worst part was the receiving tube. I have read about having your urethra cleaned, or copious amounts of lube added to the tube...I was not cleaned by a Q tip, and had a bit of lube on the tube. My piercer warned me that some guys bleed and others do not. Although I did try to ask her to give me a sec or two after she had the tube in position (I think I was trying to stall)...she would not have nay of it........the needle going thru my was totally envigorating, and the slight discomfort of the tube, the needle, the taper and then the ring probably lasted 30 secs, if that. I didnt bleed at all (other than 2 teeny drops in my boxers on the way home). I wore a condom to bed the first 4 nights (in case I started to bleed) but that never happened. By the end of the 3rd day, I was getting horny, and masturbated-I wanted to check things out-everything worked, looked, and felt great. I did experience some tenderness while sleeping at night,......if I rolled certain ways...in which I guess there was some weight placed onto my dick or the ring.

The first "pee" was a lil painful, but nowhere as bad as I imagined.

Peeing, itself, is still interesting,.....it would seem that certain positioning of the ring, allows for more or less accuracy.

I was pierced with a 10 gauge. I have seem some pics of monster rings, which have no appeal to me. The 10 looks great, but in another 2 or 3 weeks I will be upsizing to an 8..I just think it looks a little bit "less dainty".

If u want it-do it. Find an experienced piercer.who will take time and talk to u about it first. Dont worry about what u read (either good or bad)....let ur ownn curiousity or drive to be pierced be the reason u do so. U may or may not bleed. No doubt, if u go ahead, u'll like what u see hanging from below.

Congrats , It seems all went well , as for going for a larger guage you might suprise yourself , I started at 10g and have slowly gone to 0g which I had no intention of doing so but I just love the feel and weight of it .

Second that. Mine has been stretching by itself. I was pierced at 12ga last September and I'm at 6ga now, and I haven't had to use a taper at all.

A good tip from my piercer: when you reach a gauge you like, switch to titanium.

I totally agree with loupgarou having surgical steel jewellery in will let the piercing stretch itself, because of it's weight. Once the piercing has stretched to the guage you're happy with then switch to titanium as it's lighter. But the bigger the guage the more fun I find the piercing is.

That`s interesting re using titanium at your prefered guage, I have submitted a post re my 0g and how it is still stretching ever so slowly. Now my thoughts are to remove my jewelery and wait until the pierce shrinks then fit titanium at 0g ! any thoughts ?

I assume you mean a Prince Albert ? if so the piercing would be done at either 10g or 8g and at that size with little practice you can stand at a urinal with no worries of pissing everwere. It is only as you go to larger gauges that you could have problems
