Whilst comtemplated my favourite words in the English language (Appalling, i know), someone reminded of the "Veritas et Aequitas", which is latin for Truth and Justice. I don't beleive it, but like the idea of it. So my question is this:

Is it weird to want a tattoo of something you don't believe in?
Did you immediately think "Oh, gracie's Catholic."?

I was thinking one word below each bum cheek Sticking out tongue

`'Tis some visitor,' I muttered, `tapping at my chamber door -
Only this, and nothing more.'

Yeah I was watching the other day with someone, which was why they reminded me of it. It's a relative common Catholic tattoo for brothers (in arms) though, less so than the Sacred Heart, but still recognisably Catholic, which is one reason why I'm hesitating.

Conner and Murphy just have it quite obviously Sticking out tongue

Got it Sticking out tongue

let me find pic....

but if you like the idea - go with it! For the record, I'm not catholic or religious in any sort. The literal translation of the words are where the meaning is held to me.

I say do it!

thats why i went with the collarbones - since they aren't normally viewable on me unless i so choose.

being a lady, you probably wear clothes that show collarbones though... so that doesn't apply so much. Maybe hips?

I'm proud of that: I got a "WTF" are you thinking!" from another tribe member.

I decided it's the sound I like, more than the meaning or the look. So I'm trying to invent the Aural Tattoo.

But I just get images of marching Scotsman with bagpips in my head.

I was GMing a political game

Posted on October 5, 2008, 2:37 am

I was GMing a political game once that had the concept of motion activated speakers: when you came near, it picked up on your ID and announced your name to the room districtly, so everyone in the party knew how you were.

The villian was going to hijack the system and use it for pschylogical warfare, but the team got it shut down, except for certain places. IT was very cool, although completely ruined my story.

That's the kind of thing I'd like, a low sound, someone saying the words that goes off when I enter the room. Less obvious than announcing yourself, but enough to make you stand out as annoying. I expect it would drive me insane though.
