Scarification question

Is there any place on the body which is a definate no-no for scarfication, such as directly over the heart?

I'm no expert, but I don't think over the heart should pose a problem.
I've seen many photos with such placement.

I would think that it would depend on what you are doing. The word "scarification" covers a LOT of ground. Heavy scarring on bendy parts which would make them not bend so much anymore might be a problem for some, but not for others, for instance.

Like aeter said it depends on the extent of the art. As for directly about the heart, theyd hit your sternum before comming close to the actual heart

I don't think there is a place where you couldn't do scarification but when you look at the healing process there are a few examples of where it may get tricky for aftercare and healing would be uncomfortable and may take longer. Stay away from skin such as behind the knees,your armpit and groin and you should be fine Smiling

Oh man I can't even begin to imagine the uncomfortableness of having a scarification behind your knee.

A few years back I had some scarification done on the left side of my chest done with the skin removal technique and everything's been fine. I love the look of it and get lots of questions about it.

Couldnt imagine ever getting one on the back of the knee either...ouch. uBanana
