I had mine pierced...and now
Posted on February 2, 2008, 3:28 pmI had mine pierced...and now they are out because of rough sex. And what with the new dermal project, I don't see them going back in.

Posted on February 5, 2008, 5:47 pmI've had mine pierced for about 3 years
But I did have to retire my vertical ones, because the crappy piercer did them way crooked. Those might be back someday..

Posted on March 6, 2008, 2:10 pmWOW! You are still lymphing after that long. I'd for sure be trying some titanium if that was the case. I hope that stops soon enough for ya.

I have had my nipples
Posted on June 11, 2008, 7:54 amI have had my nipples pierced for 5 years. Went from a 14g to a 4 g and they are relatively problem free with a lil bit of caution.
1) Never play with them (especially sliding the bead to one side or/and the other) with hands that are not frequently washed or allow someone else's dirty hands on them either.
2) Saliva has no place on a fresh piercing at all...wait till they are healed.
3) Make sure when they are healed and you allow someone's mouth on your nipple that they practice good oral hygiene... all that nasty bacteria in the mouth can cause a painful infection and/or irritation.
4) When washing your piercings always use unscented antibacterial soap and gently remove any crusting. Slide the soapy piercing in and out of the hole several times and rinse very thoroughly, do this regularly to control the smegma that accumulates around the bar on the inside of your piercing.

You couldn't be more wrong
Posted on July 30, 2008, 3:35 pmYou couldn't be more wrong and your just asking for irritation or a nasty infection. There are several reasons to spin your jewelry during aftercare and general maintenance after the wound is healed. Preventing infection is just one of them, another is to prevent the adhesion of your skin to the jewelry. There are several sites that back up the information I have given including this one
see the links below. Also I have had no problems with my nipples and I have had them for years and even gauged them myself from a 14g to a 4g without problems or infection.
