I seem to go for long periods of time between modifying my piercings, and other times I'm adjusting a lot of things at once. I know "long periods of time" is relative here, as I've only been getting poked for the past three years! But I've been spending a lot of time on this website lately (maybe more than I should?), and having a great time interacting with you all. But once I start seeing what everyone else is doing with their piercings, I start to get ideas cooking for mine...

So I've mentioned to a few of you that my PA has been at 2g for a little over a year, and for some reason I reached a mental roadblock as to whether I was going to make the move to the big 0g or not. It seems so big! But curiosity got to me the other night (have to admit, I had a couple of drinks first!), and I stopped by my piercer's studio. He showed me a 0g CBR, and I thought it looked hot. Unfortunately, he did not have my preferred curved barbell in stock, and had to order it! Feeling a little disappointed, feeling a little disappointed........so I decided while I was there to stretch my nipples to 6g.

O my god.

I shouldn't have been surprised by the pain -- it's part why we do this, right? But this was intense...have to admit I did a little kicking & screaming on the piercer's table! After he was done, I took a look in the mirror...jeezus these rings are huge! Needless to say, I didn't sleep much that night, what for all the throbbing in my chest. My partner swears he doesn't think I've lost my mind, but I know that look! It's been two days, they're still tender, and I hope I'm not risking migration, but I love 'em.
