Posted on October 2, 2008, 2:00 amThat looks just like the bump I have on my tragus piercing. Unfortunately bumps are quite common on navels too. What is your cleaning regime?

I might not give up just
Posted on October 2, 2008, 7:10 amI might not give up just yet. You said March of this year--that's only . . . 6 months or thereabouts, about half a typical healing time for a navel.
Navels commonly end up leaning, or moving slightly to a more comfortable position. If it's bad/moved a lot you might take it out, but if it has moved only slightly it's probably okay.
I think I would try to resolve the blood filled bubble first, before you take it out. Try soaking and/or hot compresses. Don't pop it. You definately want to avoid infection, if it isn't infected already.

Posted on October 2, 2008, 6:29 pmI soak it twice a day, and wash it with soft-soap when I shower. The bubble unfortunately popped when I was cleaning blood away with a q-tip with saline on it. But it actually looks better now. It sort of made the top hole bigger though and like something is coming out like skin or something.
