I got my monroe pierced three days ago. I have read that my lip is supposed to swell and that my post should be long enough to accomodate it. However, my lip seems like it did not swell at all. I only have soreness after I clean it. The bar doesnt pinch or anything and I am not having any issues YET lol but is 3/8 the common length for an initial monroe piercing? Like I said it doesnt pinch but the ball does sit on my lip. If I make the kissy face with my lips thats the only time it feels tight, but if i move my lip a certain way I can make the post stick out just a tiny tiny bit.

I am just curious because my piercer just let me pick out which ever labret i wanted and I didnt realize the length until I looked at the reciept from the purchase today.
