Yeah I have seen a bunch of those as well, helping a friend do some research on genital piercings. So not the place if this is an educational community.

There's seeing piercings in context and there's taking it too far.

Do I hear the rumblings of the posting police??? If that type of photo is offensive to you.. Don't look.. I believe all members of the tribe are to be adults.. And body modification is pretty much an adult activity.. Don't start trying to censure other individuals forms of self expression. And Tallperson we can censor other people when it comes to very inappropriate comments. Drew did not make it so people could comment so they could leave nasty comments. This is not some cheap porn site.

There's a world of difference between posting pictures of body mods and posting cheap porn. I can't even SEE a piercing in that photo

Then you believe wrong. We have many underage members of the forums and countless other numbers visit the site without becoming members and they can view the photos.
So actually, provocative images (and I'm sorry, but that is) do need to be censored.

I have seen this woman on other sites showing her piercings and most of them are like soft porn. A PDB photo should be about the piercing, not to show whatever you care to call that photo.

I wasn't so much complaining about the pictures more about the comments underneath them

The comments were not ok. Like I said when the family is gone I will be looking at comments and editing them out.

I am working on the comments. It will take time. I already deleted the nasty comments. Not all comments about the piercings have to go just the comments that are on the lines of porn.

Because this is a PIERCING community and she has no piercings showing in that picture.....If there was a piece of jewlery glimmering somewhere then it would be on a different wavelength.

So, out of curiosity, why is that photo still even up?

The original poster seems to be suggesting that genital body piercings aren't sexual but aesthetic only (Oh please!) - I think they're both and I certainly don't want my opinions censured. The female member in the picture has chosen to display her whole body. To conclude that this has no sexual connotations is simply absurd. Why not ask the woman concerned rather than Police the forums?

It's more using that as an example: If I post a picture of a piercing, I would be aghast if there were comments like that posted.

This is piercing website, not porn. If she's wants to be an exhibitionist, then by all means, but not here.

The forums NEED to be policed so that the forum can ALLOW ALL AGES TO SEEK ADVICE HERE. To do this we MUST censor, it's a legal thing.

This forum is KINDLY being ran by a COMPANY.

The issue in this case was with the comments being left, NOT the pictures. They were abusing the forum, using it as a cheap porno site. A lot of the members making inappropriate comments haven't even POSTED on the boards, they blatantly signed up to make horrific comments about the pictures. It creates a bad image for the company.

So imagine you took a pic of a PDB, and someone commented you saying "mmm hot P****, I'd like to eat that" and nothing else... you'd enjoy it? I'd feel violated.

Can you *as in everyone defending the comments* not understand that this is a respectable forum, which allows people the freedom to share their hidden shinies. Which allows you to host pictures of your bits in a respectable way, and people are crossing those boundaries now?

Karly, thanks for bringing this to our attention, it's been discussed and it's sorted out, we have people going through the images to filter out.

Just know its the comments we are working on. If there are piercings in the pictures we will leave them up. Sorry even if the person is "rough" We are not here to judge the looks of some one. Now if someone is doing something sexual then yes we will remove the pictures. Which yes going through some of these pictures I have seen some. That lady does have down beloew piercings, she has more in other catergories that I came across, you just really can not see them in that photo.

Anyway as Kat said we are all working on these comments. It is going to take time though.

It wasn't that she is rough is that she's being overtly sexual in the pictures which I think bothers me, personally more than the comments. I just think there are more appropriate ways to display your PDB piercings.
