I wanted to share my terribly sad story with everyone. I am going to leave out big details unless anyone really wants to know.. plus it would make it more of an off-topic subject if I was to get into all of that, but to make a long story short, I no longer have four of my lovely piercings! 
A few nights ago, Monday to be exact, I was at a party and ended up in the hospital. They did an x-ray of my head, which meant I had to remove my new septum, rook, tragus and snug! And of course, they all closed before I was able to put them in again.
I am soo sad! I loved my septum more than anything and now it's gone! And I have been healing my three ear piercings since October. It seems like such a waste that I don't have any of them anymore.
Anyway. I just wanted to complain. I have the worst luck ever! Grrr! 
I wore the naked dress and now I'm on a Fifth Avenue bus with a penis on my head!

Posted on August 7, 2008, 9:08 pmI do not know how long the piercings have been in or how well they have healed. Take a trip to your piercer and see if they can be opened with a taper. The only thing that this will cost if it is not possible is a little of your time.

Posted on August 10, 2008, 1:37 amI'd defo wear some sort of retainer in the tongue if necessary - friends of mine have had theirs close up completely in a matter of hours and needed them re-pierced because they had already closed completely in the middle.

Posted on August 10, 2008, 10:38 amYeah. I had my tongue done for a year and out of the blue, my work made me take it out. They wouldn't let me wait until I got home so I could switch to a retainer or anything. And it closed within 3-4 hours. Which sucked!
