When they are healed you can
Posted on December 1, 2008, 10:09 amWhen they are healed you can change to whatever you like. Purchase quality jewelry not the cheap items that you will find in most mall or China-Mart stores.

Posted on December 1, 2008, 10:01 pmA few weeks? I think it takes a couple months for lobes to heal doesn't it???

Lobes take about 6 weeks to
Posted on December 2, 2008, 4:48 amLobes take about 6 weeks to heal fully. After that you can wear anything. My advice would be to stick to good quality jewllry for at least a year - after that you can wear cheap ass stuff from whereever if you like!

Posted on December 2, 2008, 5:53 amthanks for the input everyone, but i was just looking to get opinions on what you guys and girls think would suite me best...studs or loops like horseshoes? I know I can't remove them for a while to come.

Posted on December 2, 2008, 7:54 amWhy should we not yell at you for getting it done with a gun? Especially if you know they're bad?

hmm...how about because its
Posted on December 2, 2008, 8:20 amhmm...how about because its already done and I know there bad i was just too impatient. It was a spare of the moment thing that in hind sight I probably shouldn't have done, but so far things seem to be healing well. Maybe i'm just being paranoid but I don't think my ears match...i think my left sits lower on my ear than my right one...its been driving me crazy since i've noticed....i think i'm going to take my right one out and get it repierced....

Percing guns are bad,
Posted on December 2, 2008, 1:13 pmPercing guns are bad, however, millions and millions of people across the world get their lobes pierced with a gun every year without any bad consequences. Whilst its not the best idea, providing it was only a simple lobe piercings, you probably wont get into to much trouble. Get it done properly next time though!
If they are crooked and are driving you mad - you migh be best taking one of them out and getting it repierced. Just make sure you are prepared to do that though! They are your ears so make sure you are 100% happy with them!

My earrings look crooked but
Posted on December 2, 2008, 4:15 pmMy earrings look crooked but they're not. My EARS are crooked! LOL It's not that noticeable until you try to make them be symmetrical by putting round rings in them.

thats one of my concerns
Posted on December 2, 2008, 4:54 pmthats one of my concerns Daeni.....i have studs in them now, but i think i want to put circular barbells in them...like a horseshoe....i'm worried it will be more noticeable with those than with the studs.

Probably will. Then again,
Posted on December 2, 2008, 6:11 pmProbably will. Then again, maybe not.
Also, can anyone notice them but you, really? Mine look quite crooked to me, but I really don't think anyone else notices.
Then again, your opinion is what matters, anyway.

Posted on December 2, 2008, 6:26 pmI'm the Mama Llama, and I'm reserve the right to be very disappointed in you.
Get someone else to look at your ears and see if the piercings are mismatched or your ears are.

I think I know what kind of
Posted on December 4, 2008, 4:35 amI think I know what kind of backing that you're talking about. Are you planning on doing any stretching? If so I don't know how far you'll be able to go since they're not really all that centered on your lobe. But if you're not planning on stretching then they'll be just fine.
From what I understand it's kind of hard to aim and actually hit the right spot with a gun. So you may have to get them poked way more than twice to get them where you want them. You should've got pierced with a needle .
But it's too late now.haha So take care of those little ones and pray that you have no problems.

i doubt i'd ever stretch
Posted on December 4, 2008, 6:23 ami doubt i'd ever stretch them or if I do I probably wouldn't go more than 12 or 10 gauge at the most. well sadly I took my right one out since it was done crooked. I've still got my left, but its slightly lower on my ear than i'd prefer.

gee. they were not placed
Posted on December 4, 2008, 6:47 amgee. they were not placed correctly. who woulda thunk?
take the other one out. let them both heal up, and then get them done properly, with proper jewelry.
sorry to be such a butt about this, but you've been a member here for--40 weeks? and still got them with a gun?
live and learn, is all I can say.
you know what "arms akimbo" means? That's what I'm doing now. tapping my foot, too.

cloud your right...but the
Posted on December 4, 2008, 10:28 amcloud your right...but the left seems to be doing really well and i really don't want to have to wait and then start the healing all over again...if I ever have my ears pierced again it will definatly be done by someone with a needle. when i get my right redone i'll have it done with a needle. do you guys think my left ear is placed to low where I couldn't stretch it to a 12 gauge one day...like a year or two from now?

I don't think that you'll
Posted on December 5, 2008, 7:20 pmI don't think that you'll have a whole lot of issues with just stretching to a 12 or a 10 but only time will tell. It's not HORRIBLY big so you should be fine.
